2.5cm, mostly fell in the last 90 minutes. A bit disappointing as it mostly fell as ice pellets with just a short spell of back edge snow.

10 cms on level surfaces 18:30pm. Suspect the fells would have seen twice this amount.

9 hours if continuous snowfall - no snow to rain event as forecast, not even the hint of rain or sleet... we have been lucky compared to western parts of the county, definately a county of two halves today.

11cm in Headington Hill,Oxford. Snowed Continuously from 4:30pm till 12am. Some heavier bursts at different times gave 50p sized flakes and helped the accumulation amount to more :)

Good Night

Regards,Mark

Hoping to hear the magic 20cm being reported from somewhere tomorrow morning! I would like to report that 14cm has been measured in Shap this evening, and 6cm near Penrith.

Average depth was 12.4cm late yesterday evening. I've just been out and done the same 10 measurements and the average is now 11.7cm.

There's been no thaw overnight but the lying snow has compacted slightly.

The snow stopped around 10:30 GMT. An average depth of 10cm here with a crust on top of powder, so a slight thaw before the temperature dropped to –3.5c.

blimey mate you are keen-looks very nice from this window but not been out yet, I'd guess its 3-4cm but will check once I'm up and had some breakfast!

-4.5C so it will have a crust on it for sure after slight rain around 2300 before it turned foggy.

7cm possibly 8cm with a thin crust of ice on the top from the slight short spell of rain as the snow cleared late last evening.
