Looks Like the East/South East are going to get buried again.

For here, just wet old rain, maybe a bit of sleet in Eastern Counties.

Looks like Central/Eastern England getting buried again!

Rain, and if we are lucky, a bit of sleet here in the west!

Nothing I hate more than an easterly thats bone dry. What a complete waste. Any snowfall is usually from fronts from the west.

A true northerly, or even a half as@ed one generally has moisture.

Go away cold dry east weather.

Once bitten twice shy -

Although last weekends snow/rain was pretty much as expected I still was left a little bitter that it didn't upgrade as it could have....

Not really fussed about potential 3/4 days away, if it's within 24/36 hrs and looking odds on I will start getting a little excited.

To be honest I just want the beach, bbq's and pub gardens now...

No doubt we will get a strong Northern Block in April, lasting for weeks on end, giving us a record breaking cold Spring and Summer! Lol!

I'm just so bored with being cold. At least if we get a thick hoare frost it's pretty as well as cold, snow is the ultimate bonus and makes cold tolerable but this nothingness is sooooooooooooooooooo dull and I'm sick of wearing oodles of layers just to get through a working day.

Seriously longing to feel the Sun on my skin again, roll on Summer.

Oh shush! That is not even vaguely funny.

Sounds like another trip up the mendips! :D

By the way on a slight change of subject, does anyone know why animated avatars don't work anymore, mine should be animated & not a static image.

Looking at your avatar, it becomes crystal clear why they're not animated anymore.

well, they do say Be careful what you wish for I suppose. But yes the thought of summer around the bbq with the fire lit does not really fill me with glee. Stranger things have happened though lol.

Useless fact of the day.....when female Squirrels are in season they whistle - a very loud, human like wolf whistle.

Strange but true.

Im not impressed with the south east bias the models seem to have this winter :aggressive: will we see any proper snow - snow events and not the rubbish brief snow to rain?

-5c now.

You can tell straight away that is a very quick snow to rain event though! Light snow followed by the moderate rain that is shown over Wales!
