I can't see classic storms here, but elevated lightning, yes.

If you have to be back by midnight, it'll be too early to see anything i would have thought.

Need to get up on creech hill carpark, on top of the Purbeck hills. Best viewpoint of anywhere.

I was feeling confident yesterday that I'd see something I don't think I will now! Now that Thursday is almost here I don't feel anywhere near as excited as I did a few days ago.

I may be heading that way too, but its a 270 mile drive to the south coast so will need to be pretty certain something is going to kick off. At present, i am 85% sure. If the met office came on board i'd be on my way down there by now, but because they do not seem to see anything happen it worries me driving so far.

Good chance at home tomorrow, but i want to see a storm at night and approaching over the sea. May have chance to film down on the south coast and then race back tomorrow morning to catch a storm back up in Yorkshire early afternoonish.

Thats exactly what i was waiting for. Forget netweather experts, estofex, skywarn etc... and forget the met office, if channel 5 says it will happen then it WILL happen. I wonder if we can get channel 4 or CBeebies onside too blum.gif
