Can someone give me a rough time or idea when the action will all kick off for this area tomorrow? thanks smile.png

Id say early afternoon, around 1/2pm. Could be wrong but that is when MetO forecast the cold front to push through and hopefully go boom as it collides with the warmer humid air that is currently over us. Hope that helps.

Activity around the Bay of Biscay looks to be weakening for now anyway.

A photo recently posted up on the weather area on boards.ie, supposedly from Belfast this evening.

Nothing much in Cork yet though, some moderate rain. Quite a few strikes showing up just to the SW of Ireland.

A little early to be writing things off just yet, anything seen today was always going to be a bonus. Its early tomorrow morning into the afternoon where the CAPE restablishes itself across the central spine of England and triggers the remnants of the current BoB MCS system moving north.

If nothing has happened this time tomorrow then it's time to call it quits. Have faith.

WOW just a bit wet in Belfast! help.gif

Pretty nasty weather moving into SW Scotland, that batch of showers really did pep up in the last hour! Anybody happen to be underneath it as I could have sworn I've heard some rumbles??

Cloudy and breezy here, 14.9c currently and it doesn't really feel all that warm or humid tbh.

LOL

Whats with the random LOL? :)

Nothing really expected to be around yet. It is from around 1-2am onwards that there may start to be some imports onto the south coast and then progressing onwards and upwards. Looking forward to the plethora of storm forecasts later, i wonder if estofex will give us a level 1 again?

A promising step in the right direction. Presumably this would shift gradually north and east.

I don't want replies of 'keep the faith' or anything, but i just don't see it happening in the far south. I think the action will be north of an imaginary line from around Cheshire to Cambridgeshire. The MO wouldn't leave it this long, i think the beeb and MO have called this one right.
