RED warning issued for parts of Devon & Cornwall for heavy rain valid from midnight. Up to 100mm rain possible: Of twitter... 100 mm!!!

Okay..Would like to report my first ever tornado!!!!!!!!!!!!! All be it very small and a touch down of less than 10 seconds was amazing!!!!!! Came out of the cell that popped up to the west of London pics to follow of the storm but no pics of the tornado Mum, sister and Dad also witnessed it

50mm from the "rain event" over 8 hours - by no means the worst I've seen (71mm in 2hrs from a hellish storm in August 2005 I think).

We've got no clouds like this around here at the moment.

It's amazing how much forecasts are chopping and changing at the moment. The latest thinking is lots of slow moving thundery downpours tomorrow here, with heavy rain moving up from France in the evening.

Interesting times!

It's amazing how much forecasts are chopping and changing at the moment. The latest thinking is lots of slow moving thundery downpours tomorrow here, with heavy rain moving up from France in the evening.
