Can hear sferics but they seem too far away to be coming from the Manchester cell. Well we will see when it gets a bit closer

They will be from the one on the image I posted on the last page, too far away to give our areas any fireworks I am afraid.

Nothing in Bristol, or anywhere close too, today. Been rather warm and pleasant actually. Earlier on the week, Friday showed promise, but I think this has diminished somewhat now.

Looking like about half an hour for a hit, sat24 looks great. Crewe - maybe a smaller cell to the south of the big one?

Shall we call this El Millennio given the frequency of them coming?

Might not have to go anywhere, cool air drafting down the Dee and Mersey Estuaries hitting that humid weather head-on !

Well that was a short but sweet storm, handful of visible lightning before it moved off out into Cheshire. Little in the way of rain here but looking down towards Buxton it was pretty dark with convection building up across the Goyt Valley.

I can't begin to describe just how black it's gone. To the ene there is what looks to be some form of shelf like cloud. Surprised I've heard no thunder TBH

There was frequent thunder to my SW not long ago & lightning.

So I hear some parts of Leeds have had a good storm!! Guess it was closer than I thought.. still nothing here lol

I rest my case that the midlands and north get the most thunderstorms of any region in Britain.

Metoffice was looking promising for this week (yesterday to Saturday) and look what's happened in South Bucks!

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!

Nothing on wednesday, nothing today, will be nothing tonight looking at net-weather's Premium Euro Radar and I'm healthily pessimistic there will be, as per usual, NOTHING tomorrow.

The Home Counties get absolutely bugger all in terms of storms and I'm sick of it.

We are in a direct head on path...........surely it can't miss!

Can it beat the...um...Tarvin storm shield?

My housemate didn't believe me when I just told him a storm was coming.
