Feels like there are storms rumbling all around me at the moment. Surely one of them will be a direct hit?!

Nothing exciting here at the moment. Here is the radar / lightning situation at 3:30. Movement of weather is generally NE.

Painful isn't it!!

Looking more promising though - I reckon we must be in for a direct hit soon? Nice and dark clouds on it's way... surely we won't miss out?!

Oh yes! The thunder is getting louder! clapping.gif

Lightning at last!!!

My radio is going crazy with lightning sounds but I can't see a thing. It's soooo dark and it's raining. God, where is it? Come ON!

Sunshine here now. Hopefully can give some impetus to the cells to my southwest.

I guess most will have heard thunder in our area, before the day is through.

Nothing but rain here still. Lightning sounds on radio still so must be in the area, just not Norwich. *sigh* :(

As above 5 Thunderstorms today with Thunder rumbling to the east and now west again. Just one of those days when we have lucked out and everything has intensified over us for once.

Beautiful sunshine now, our community BBQ got called off but we are going to risk one just for us!

Ten minutes of thunder and lightening was the best have had in a while so quite happy! Although when it was right overhead I did watch from the bedroom! Such a wimp!

Had two small 'storms', quotation marks because I think we got more the edge than the full thing. Two quite close intercloud strikes and some fab cloud formations, almost a shelf on one.

Another interesting ride home with all these storms going on! Caught up with it by erith and stayed with it till home, did see some cloud based stuff and one real impressive cg strike (would have been northfleet/gravesend area). Now sat in the dry watching it pass over with a cuppa in hand. :)
