Yeah I posted that a few posts earlier john, it looks to be becoming the liveliest cell at the moment, and heading our way Also 2 rumbles in a minute just then.

Day has turned into night here in north west London and the wind has really picked up. Something big is heading this way.

Down comes the rain (again). Good. I won't need to water the veg.

Thunder and lightning fully here now... Not much rain though.

Looks like we're catching just the edge of the storm here, but, it's better than nothing!

just had a big rumble of thunder here

I expect she'll see the reflections of the lightning bolts in her cloudy cider. Says he, who is drinking cider right now, hic!

Fantastic thunderstorms here!!!! One going through now fantastic 4 today already happy days!!!

Lucky bugger. blum.gif Mind you, I received one cell which dumped 4.8mm, some hail and at least 10 rumbles, so in no position to complain.

Distant rumbles of thunder here in Bexleyheath. Not sure from what direction it's coming from as there are ominous looking clouds in all directions!

More rumbles of thunder here in brentford, didn't see any lightning.. It's very dark!

Just heard the first rumble of the 2nd storm. Looking on the radar it looks like there could be more, and hope that most of us storm lovers get some storms today.

Best storm in a few years just gone through here. Best gust front on a UK thunderstorm i've ever seen aswell, from calm and still to leaves being torn off the trees and small branches flying about in a few seconds. A bit of hail mixed in, and almost constant thunder....roll on the next one!
