You're right, just looked at the radar. Grrrrr

The current wind direction doesn't tend to favour me here, but hopefully you'll get something later being a bit further inland.

not so sure even i'll get something unless the wind direction changes. plenty of threatening looking cloud but it looks as if virtually the whole of west sussex is rainfall free!!

Ohhhhh, some very distant rumbles, looks stormy, but don't know if it's coming this way.

Clearing up here now

The fax chart last night had

A front crossing the south east

Around 6pm

If we can get a clear slot inbetween

It could get interesting later

Yep, just cloudy but dry here, apart from a sharp shower earlier.

I'd like to say i'm optimistic, but i'm not.

Wind *could* still change though. I doubt it, but it could.

don't give up yet... watch the track of the showers over dorset....

... SE UK...

The low-level instability under the upper low over British Isles and Benelux may give rise to some spout-type tornadoes, if winds would weaken.

the sun is out here and towers really going up

i think east london area-or north east london

should see these soon

You made in to the county again without detection biggrin.png

...or a sat nav....amazing isn't it rolleyes.gif

Mind you I didn't venture too far over the county line just to be on the safe side, I ended up somewhere between Cranfield and Marston Moretaine ......which according to my check in on the i phone is called the Devils A*se unsure.png

Lots of big black clouds to my N/NW now...looks like I just made it home just in time before it rains which will give me the perfect excuse to sit in the conservatory and rest my tired legs with a glass of vino angel.gif

Just came back from shopping at Lakeside (Thurrock, South Essex) - had a cracking thunderstorm around 1.5 hours ago, lightning, thunder and hail.

Now back home in Bexleyheath - sun is out, but plenty of stormy looking clouds around too biggrin.pnggood.gif

In lakeside shopping centre and it sounds like the roof is going to collapse from the rain!

LOL, I was there at the same time! We couldn't hear ourselves speak while walking around!

Distant thunder here, but apart from an interesting sky, nothing really exciting yet.
