Very dark here and just had a few fat rain drops. No thunder though because it looks to be all across the Channel. :(

Sun is now officially out here in north east London - although slightly milky sunshine peering through hazy high cloud.

It's gone very muggy here, no longer hazy sunshine, clouds bit more grey....come on storms, you know you wanna!

If I don't hear thunder tonight am gonna run naked round the garden!

My neighbour just told me that the opening ceremony will make you proud to be British, he ruined it for me a little. (His friend is involved in the preparation)

A Singapore Airlines A380 flight SQ319 from heathow made some weird channel in the clouds as it passed.

Check out the diagonal line it left. The aircraft coming out of heathrow are really loud tonight is it something to do with the type of air we have over us? The aircraft arn't even that low.

Would have taken a picture of the aircraft but by the time I had ran into the house grabbed my phone and got out again it was gone.

Yes, My house is in Garston, North Watford. All the aircraft that head east pretty much fly over watford and a lot of the aircraft coming from the west to land at heathrow fly over here to.

check out: http://www.flightradar24.com/

You can see all of the aircraft flying to and from airports all over the world in real time.

I live on flight path to heathrow, brentford, and the planes are right over head tonight and loud!! Doesnt help with my windows open of course. This afternoon a plane went over was incredibly low and loud. I will be surprised if it doesn't rain here imminently..

I should think it'll probably have something to do with Olympic Ceremony. Wish something exciting would fly over my place. :)
