Just had a look at the Maidstone forecast on the BBC weather site. 98% humidity for 05.00. Should be interesting when I start work at 5.30 tomorrow morning nea.gif

if its 90% humidity but only 8C dew point it won't feel that humid, but 50% humidity at 19C dew point would feel horrific.

Anybody been looking at the bigger picture over France lately, if not, go check my latest post and one or two others in the Convection Thread. It could be about to go boom!

Cheers

Because I have fun making these...

Overlaid a chances diagram over the precip forecast from the Metoffice.

The black box signifies the area that I'm interested in.

Yellow Box - Isolated risk of torrential downpours with a small chance of one being thundery in nature.

Red box - Risk of torrential downpours and thunderstorms from late morning into the early part of the evening before clearing away Eastwards.

Still cloudy in west Wales - sea fog nudging in all day. Never mind though, it's been mild and windless which pretty much equals a heatwave here - managed another BBQ tonight. That's 2 in 6 days - unheard of!

At least when we get home to the 'unsettled and cooler' weather we will see it as an improvement.....

Just for anybody's reference, I've done a post in the convection thread. 50/50 anyone?

Should I stay or should I go, should I stay or should I go to sleep now....

Cheers

A rather chilly 13C here, although the bedroom is probably a few degrees warmer lol! Much nicer day than Wednesday with a good breeze blowing. Still not sunburnt despite 3 days outside all day :D Will be interesting to see if anything manages to limp over the Norfolk/Suffolk border later rofl.gif

I'm not on the IOW, but am on the South Coast with a view out to sea! Nothing as of yet!
