Must get myself a temp gauge :) Anyways Sun out Clear blue sky and Sunlounger cleared of cobwebs. Got a lot done yesterday so a day of relaxation for me.

Already hit 30°C in the office here in Benny Hill, an hour earlier than it did yesterday - it peaked at 31°C inside. Outside temp maxed at 30°C according to the car on the way home last night and I expect both to be exceeded today but by how much, I'm not sure!

28 deg and rising here lovely day off out to the outdoor pool soon to catch some rays.

I don't think you'll catch any rays in a pool. You'll need to go out to sea for that.tongue.png

Fan on in my non a/c office. Luckily the Sun has moved around now, so it's not warming the office directly.

I'm thinking about an outdoor pint or two again this evening.drinks.gif

32°C in the office here now and with all the windows open, the builders have just turned up to finally repair our roof!!! I'm sure they are making more noise than they normally would, tearing up the old sections and disposing of them :doh:

28c at midday..... Hot hot hot..... My candle in back window is melting.....

I'm melting in my back garden....is Coast back with those ice creams yet ?

It's saying 30.1 deg C in the shade here - not sure how accurate that is though !

Even young doggies have to cool down with a drink on hot days:

My vet told me he has more patients in hot weather and it kills more dogs than the coldest days of winter. So make sure they've got water and NEVER take them out in a car. Even a few minutes in a parked car can kill. My dog jumped in the pond and just sat there — cooling his tummy.

Clouding over from time to time — let's hope it goes Kabooom later on. A thunder storm would be a real treat.

Wouldn't it just. As long as it's warm again tomorrow.....but not as hot as this. And oh for cooler nights. :)

Just popped out for a break, lovely and hot in west London. Met Office have just tweeted top temp recorded of 30.5 c in Charlwood and St James's Park. Officially hottest day of the year so far

Well I ate my own home made chilli at lunchtime, made with a few scotch bonnets (with seeds) - at least one per chilli portion, so I guess there are two of us! Others said it smelt nice though!laugh.png
