Morning each. Some low cloud this morn in The Swich. Quiet cool but that's welcome after very warm night. Looks like the old adage of 'Three hot days and a thunder storm' may be right minus the storm...naturally. :D

...and I don't mind if it all goes bang on Friday night now, but if it could just wait until after I've been to an outdoor concert on Friday evening that would be good !

Cloud has cleared now and looks set to be good again. Mini forecast says lightning for us tomorrow so hope for night time bangs and flashes (after MK's concert of course). YAY!

Sunny interludes with showers in places, perhaps heavy in the southeast later. Southwest England, the Midlands and much of Wales likely to stay dry. Very warm across the south.

True John.

The models have had this on a knife edge all week and it looks like it's going to the wire.

Sunday looks like a thundery showers type day to me as well, although probably nothing too spectacular.

I see the 12:00 GFS run has a reasonable chunk of SE England having a 30% storm risk tomorrow afternoon / evening.

Something for storm lovers to cling to.

Ah, we have a 57% risk here in The Swich. I'm clinging to it like a barnacle to a keel. :D

Anyway it's a lovely evening here (would be great if it's like this for Blackheart tomorrow night)

I've just finished work and I believe there is a pear cider in the fridge with my name on it...just in time to enjoy some evening sunshine in the garden drinks.gif
