There's always a gap where storms round here are concerned. I anticipate the lightning detector strike map will show said gap around S Cheshire later......

Lol a 'might' will be a 'no chance' in reality. I'll be right lol, I'm always right by default when forecasting storm liklihood for Crewe; Crewe no longer does storms

Annoying, the line is on the doorstep but the sferics have eased off... should be half an hour of heavy rain unless things change quickly.

I suspect that the usual thing will happen, that it skips over us western areas and peps back up when heading into the West and then East Midlands...

There is a storm over Warrington now, about 1-2 rumbles per minute. Quite a nice band forming heading towards Manchester.
