So weird really. There's rain sleet and odd wet flake and yet temp is 0.4c. Flipping uppers. Ud expect them to be colder in theory lol. Oh well doesn't look anything that promising vector week really either.

Light snow still, but getting a bit heavier now, and down to 0.6C. The radar shows that the heavier stuff is still just out to the W and SW so maybe a chance of seeing my first significant covering of the season (i.e. more than a slight dusting) before the inevitable rain washes it all away!

Pretty much moderate snow now- lying on all surfaces; very quick accu; -2.0c dew point. Rain/sleet to arrive around 2am it seems so hopefully a bit more and a good amount of snow beforehand.

i dont think we have had snow either, but way i see it...its only just winter, so im not all that bothered, it is nice to see it falling but still plenty of time

Moderate sized flakes here, the ground is almost covered.

Also true of Sandhutton so far- the 26th/27th October event gave about a centimetre of snow with 80-90% cover for a time, whereas the two events of December have so far given a very thin dusting- though I'm staying up for a bit to see if it can be beaten.

Getting slightly heavier and settling on pavements and cars, not roads yet though.

Hopefully a couple of hours before it turns back to rain if the ECM meteogram for Middlesbrough is to be believed.

Is it pure snow Alza or is it a mix of snow/ice pellets? Because that what it sounds like here but nonetheless, the ground is covered in whiteness though.
