Looks VERY marginal for Surrey, Sussex and Kent on this run, it may just stay the right side due to the strength of the front and hopefully by the time the warm sector does go on through we'd have some settled stuff already.

We want this run, but just try to make 2-3hrs later GFS next time!

I'm tipping SW London/NE Surrey to be the sweet-spot for the snow tomorrow! Yamkin, can you confirm?

6.7C Sunny.

Sorry I must be misreading the charts but this seems like a massive upgrade on the precip charts for mon / tue so far for us?

It shows continues (sp) snow over our area from 7 am saturday to 7 pm tuesday so far?

Whilst you should never take these sorts of maps for granted, it does rather show what I think would be a real possiblity if it came through at say 3-6pm (as this map suggests (this map is for 3-6pm precip)

For us, it'd be snow- sleety-snow then back to pure snow type event if the 12z GFS came off...with a warm sector you need to really get this sorta event down overnight otherwise your always fighting against marginality.

Ah right I see Kold in the higher res version what you mean.

Hopefully the cold air will be further West by then (and colder) so the warm sector doesn't affect us :-)

Oh ehmm Sexy in South Norwood?

Discombobulated in Diss.

Still quite mild here and cloudy with not a waft of a wind.

The prospect for all this snow from fronts is great.... but my ears pricked up when I read the words "convective easterly" in the mod thread. My favorite weather type in the world!

Might be Crowing in Crowborough if the 12z verifies.
