It's the snow cover they have.

The precipitation in the Estuary is predominantly Green ( Sleet ), how reliable is the NW weather type ?

It' may be sleet out in the estuary, but if it moves inland it will readily turn to snow.

Going to cut the Westward Movement odds to 4/7 and move back out the Precip the same or further east to 5/4

Further West has 16 Votes

Further East / Same has 11 Votes

Exclusively South has 2 Votes

Will put all names to their votes before the 12z's roll out

Managed to get a fix on the PPn in gthe estuary- its a no go I think- rotating around doing nothing- maybe east kent-

Wait until next week when we get a solid easterly flow.....

That blob off the Felixstowe coast needs watching over the next few frames...

lol at that temp reading- classic direct sunlight reading.

The air temp here is probably still -3c.

Paul I want the 12/1 shot winner take all heavy snow south of the estuary....

S

Hi, found problem water on a sensor "Vantage Pro 2 station been in the same place for years" , temp got upto 10.5c! I think you are right some of that frozen

fog melted in the "sun" and somehow got in cables to sensor.

All ok now winter back again :)

Hi guys, can a Thames streamer affect nw london by ant chance?

Yes it can. Ideally we want ese streamer. However, if the streamer is wide enough then we can do ok in a ene streamer (albeit south of the river would get higher totals). Feb 09 was ene and is a good example

West England/East Wales is going to get the heavy stuff according to the tweets of Simon King. I'm just to the very West of London so looks like I'll and those East will miss the heavy stuff but light instead. Is it found to be patchy though?
