Yeah me to Louise looks like South Cheshire could well be the worst hit area in the region if things go to plan that is! cold.gif

not sure it will be the worst hit, but it if things go to plan it could get a good dumping like a little further north..it depends on where this precip ends up obviously..personally we should really be hoping for the orientation to be more ne, and a good 30/50 miles east for a start.

This applies to those in the SW of the region:

That stuff on the radar over Wales is pacing towards us. Expect periods of light snow very soon. smile.png

Yep been tracking that BT.

Has me right in it by 1630.

I feel your pain as well, feels like a right kick in the teeth! sad.png

I think we live in the worst area for snow. Completely sheltered and for me, by the sea. I even, stupidly, went out to buy two sledges for the kids this morning, before checking any updates from last night. I was that confident... huh so depressing....

NMM looks disappointing, predicts 4mm of rain for our region = 4cm snow :(

I find it hard to believe that at least some light snow won't make it across the majority of the region, at least a covering of an inch in most places I expect. Just that would make up for how I feel at the moment.

When is the main snow band expected to arrive in the North West? Could we see morning rush hour disruption??
