Does it?

The snow accumulation chart is just awful. Shows no snow accumulating in Manchester whatsoever really.

I guess what Tom C told me yesterday could be right really - SE'lies are no good for Manchester due to the Peak District. He gave me a perfectly valid physical explanation yesterday (he's a physicist at Manchester Uni) and it looks like he could be spot on

No chance. Temp - 1.9C, DP 0.0C, although the wet bulb is worrying @ 1.2C.

are you sure your dp is 0.0? it should be a lot lower than that. mine is -1.7C

temp 0.8C

Giving up on the RainToday radar, that stuff to the west is moving west whilst that chunk to the east is expanding and going northwest.

Very odd.

SEly is no good for convective snow coming from the East.

This set up brings the snow from the west and creates SEly winds where the warm and cold mix

Th big question is how far east this mixing will progress!

I know what you mean, but Tom was referring to the setup we have tomorrow, not convection from the east.
