NAE is a load of kack, Met Office go for 10-15cm locally in the SW of the region. Stick with that.

Most of the region will be dry tomorrow, It will not surprise me if the amber warning gets removed tonight.

Looking at the ppn there I think Michael has done the video forecast with data from last night.

It was apparently produced this morning.

I wasn't forecast any precipitation for this afternoon .

I've now got quite a dusting building up.

Based on that, I wouldn't trust any froecast for tomorrow.

i think there is plenty of time for a chance of snow, once that second band arrives, the stuff over wales is making slow progress north eastwards

Why stress over tomorrow when the front currently 10 miles away from the region is keeping it's intensity and moving towards us 3 hours earlier than expected? Expect a covering in the west of the region within the next couple hours.

That is a good point...... Latest radar shows the front pepping up a bit as well!

Perversely this is a good thing.........

Once the front comes up against the resistance of the block to the east, the winds will drag in colder air, but it also stalls the front. So longer the front moves eastward better the chances of snow!
