Is leyland the only place with the warmest temps at the mo, 3.3 here!

I sympathise,whenever a certain temperature is predicted I add 2 degrees because it is always,without fail, warmer where i am at my very low elevation.Where i am im 0.3 cooler so 3c....really relatively balmy Edited by greybing

I'm stood in a shelter nr st annes pier looking out to sea waiting for snow now! God I feel like a snow junky! Grains falling. Very grey across the Irish Sea.

Quite clear to see this is a significant upgrade in snowfall potential for the whole region by the GFS! smile.png

Lets hope this trend continues!

Well i am in the Isle of Man and if those precipitation charts are right we are in for a right snowy day tomorrow!!!

Love it its dry snow and its only being snowing about 5 minutes and the roads are getting covered. This is just a starter for me as im of to lapland on sunday thats is the airports are open

It's radar data so it's already verified in its current place - just need it to keep its intensity and head east

Well I suggest you do a snow dance and pray that future runs maintain or upgrade the potential further :)

Interestingly the 12Z GFS further out seems to be getting its head round the idea that this cold block is not going anywhere in the near future. Up to now we've had successive GFS runs predicting a breakdown at around T+120. Already out to T+180 and no real sign of the atlantic returning
