Yep, wee snow shower here. I think this is the first time in lowland Scotland that I've seen glistening snow as it falls in the low dewpoints - I've only seen that in Canada before!

Tomorrow night may be the best opportunity for a Forth-Clyde streamer in a while:

Really very light and certainly not going to bother the sledge from it's slumber anytime soon. But it's progress...

Dear Catch, Dear SS

theres no polite way to put this.

STOP STEALING MA F'N SNAW!

kind regards

By-Tor

I think what the forum needs for us snaw-starved souls in purgatory is a big red 'f~~k off' button next to the simpering poncy 'like this' button.

if there is a party I nominate Fort SS hoose as the venue, super fast snaw and a car / empty Tesco full of beer. sounds like a plan.

Have very large Espace, will travel!!!!

Clouds edging closer to the east, but could be a while yet before even a sniff of snaw.

Well the fizzin Lammermuirs have stole my snow too.... cloud cover increased a lot in the last hour or so, only had a few flakes and it looks like there is heavier cloud more westerly? typical.

Not much to write home about in Aberdeen so far today...can I hope for a northerly wind, like days of old??? smile.png

I think we might be about to get a few beefy showers. It's gone very dark to the south east.

that possible event for monday showing at 48hrs on the NAE coming into the southeast if it did manage to make its way up here we would maybe see lots of showers before it arrived as the isobars get pinched infront of it

Just back from the school run and tbh, I've not felt bitter cold like for a long time...absolutely skin rippingly cold.

Colder than a titches wit.

What makes you say that? Met Office updated forecast on website this afternoon still reckons some showers might make the Glasgow area later this evening - not expecting much, and there might quite possibly be nothing, but seems to early to write it off.

Beautiful winter's day but very cold in the wind which is now a bit lighter. No snow here but I'm hoping for a few snow showers at least during this weekend.

More evidence of a westerly push with the showers on the radar

Must be time to go home soon? I've achieved pretty much sweet FA in work today!

Starting to stick in northeast Fife now I think. Still nothing here in Edinburgh, although I think I can detect a few flakes.
