Will that front to the West reach me, NW London? If it ever starts to move East, that is.

It's stalled for now, may get a little bit off it but nothing to write home about, the secondary front is when the fun begins!

Great choice in football teams aswell, you 'orns!

Feeling colder here again, any idea when we will start to see snow in the Eastbourne area, need to consider mode of transport to work tomorrow!!

probably around 8 or 9am from which time snow will intensify as the day goes on ...

Sorry to hear bout your "problem" :)))

It's fine, me and the celebs have sneaked in some booze and fags in prep for tomorrows snow watch. Apparently (if this doesn't say cockroft when referring to a bbc forecaster, I have maturity issues) Cockshock is checking in tomorrow, he's taken the backlash of dire forecasting rather hard!

(and I totally do have maturity issues but no help for that here)

Well, some people reckon seagulls are a sign of severe weather, however our hamsters, who started creating nests last weekend have gone on overdrive this past day or two and are both now completely buried in their bedding. I am taking that as a sign!

Yep, the precipitation out to the west never made it to Hayes, 2c all the way down the M25 to Surbiton, and now just waiting... with the hamsters... excitedly, hoping to avoid the school and work run back up to Uxbridge in the morning:)

My Daughters Hamster has too! She said to me the hamsters being really lazy, I told her it was because it's gone into hibernation coz of the snow coming! Hamsters are the new charts!

Great pics there, Tilly. Beautiful snowflakes - and I bet you were really chuffed to have your photo on the telly.

Temp and dew climbed 0.8c in 30 mins!

Wtf!

Strange

Still

-2.6c Temp

-7.1 Dewp

But I do see some cloud coming in from the North Sea up the estuary at the moment, everything clear to the west with the crescent moon and can then see the stationery weather front about 35 miles to my west which would place it just west of London.

Going to be a very busy day for the Government tomorrow, I've heard whispers that a COBRA meeting may be called due to the bad weather, on top of what's unfolding in Algeria.

Mentioned this earlier in the thread.

Going to be a very long weekend for those in authority. The first big test for those who are struggling to pay for their heating bills and how the authorities are going to deal with the bad weather and the inevitable tumble (I know) in temperatures.
