I'm going to crack into the Night Nurse tonight. No chance of me sleeping otherwise. Excited from Bromley.

Friends travelling Kent to Cardiff are hour away from Cardiff and its raining?

Seems reasonable. Rain Today Premium showing snow between Heathrow and Swindon, then "rain/snow" as far as Bristol. I guess they're in what Rain Today is showing as "rain/snow".

18z at T12 has initialised slightly further East & slightly heavier creeping east V the 12z...

all good-

remember the temps in South essex will rise in the SE wind where as the kent side wont...

Am I right in thinking there will be no snow on the roads during rush hour tomorrow morning then? I am wondering whether to make school packed lunches or not!

The big issues....wink.png

I asked my kids school if they are open tomorrow, and they looked at me like, yes it's a friday why bother asking, and just said yes we are. So I guess it's a case of checking there web site in the morning.

Yep

Always makes me nervous when SEasterlies are driving our weather, so many sleet events here due to the warm estuary, think we are 100% going to get away with tomorrow due to frigid weather in france and -9c Uppers, but usually fills me with dread! Lots of cloud now just offshore and moving NW Quite quickly, still clear overhead

Luckily my kids school is only 90second walk !

They usually shut after a cpl cm of snow as we live in the sticks !!!

Here's hoping for lunchtime snowmageddon and snowman building into the late afternoon with the kids !

(north Kent)

Could do with a little shift eastwards 20miles or so. I'm just east of the higher totals
