Those showery bits out west seem to be merging well with the main band now. This ties in with the NAE showing precipitation really increasing between now and midday I guess. Then dying off this afternoon.

where can you see the precipitation charts as to the increase of snow , looked at net weather radar am i looking in the right place ?

Yes the back edge is coming across swiftly, and with it being daytime could cause a thaw for sw Wales, hopefully it will stall but looks quite progressive.

I think it has JUST stopped now..

I cannot understand some remarks on here today 50 miles south of Wales it"s raining ,what if we had 7 hrs of rain?then you can moan.Time to count your blessings.

Big snow drifts out of urban areas in North pembs, a lot od trees down, a lot of roads impassable

Front is slowing down and within the front a more organised and heavier band of precipitation to the west, should be here in a hour or so.

Snow still falling lighty, I can hear lots of dripping though. Looks like a thaw has set in, can't complain, got about 2-3cm

6cm snow here so far with more in mini drifts. There should be 10-15+ by the time the snow has left S.E Wales. :D

Although it seems to be sticking to everything, garden plants are snapping under the weight of snow, god knows what might happen to power lines soon!
