As far as I know it's still snowing here, think I need to dig out a torch so I can have a gander search.gif

Oh, and my OH took this pic in the local Tesco's earlier while I queued behind the many, many trollies..

Also - for those of you on S Coast - there'll be a growing tendency for the front coming eastward to gradually overrun the cold boundary layer air - accentuated by overrunning up at mid-levels too, as the upper trough then extends onwards out beyond the front. Effectively, this will be conducive to seeing widespread snow, rather than rain or sleet, across at least most districts away from the far SW into early AM - and that includes allowing even for the more expansive sea track that might otherwise tend to mitigate snow falling for many southern coastal districts.

thank you for taking the time and sharing your thoughts with us very greatful.

No - it's on the money.

Note the much lower DP air now flooding across from France into S England.

It's started.

Thanks Ian, Put my mind at rest!! Happy sledging sir!!

On the subject of horsemeat... Does anyone else think it is just coincidence that 'hamburgers' is an anagram of 'Shergars bum' ? Food for thought... I heard this from My Lidl Pony.

I am starting to worry i'll be told off for bantering the regional thread but a i bet a burger made from shergars bum would of been expensive.

So to try and keep on topic. 6.2 degrees c here, humidity 74%

I'm still at 3.2! I'm sat by the fire with my iPad and weather station! Friday is my day off work, both of my bosses are sleeping over at work tonight, everyone else who works on a Friday lives miles away, I can see a phone all being made to me to come in tomorrow......
