I can imagine people dropping there kids off to school then half later getting a call for them to go and collect.

Night all, see you in the morning for a day of fun.

Definitely looking like it will be here slightly ahead of time, that lingering ppn in the central region is certainly beginning to move East ahead of the main front, but the wind has started to pick up here, which may slow it down more as it nears us.

Night KB and Buzzit!

( Buzzit, you should start seeing a few flakes soon by the look of the 2:40 radar...just beginning to reach the M25)

Any chance of getting involved? biggrin.png

Not a chance of me winning due to my location, but a thundersnow event could see me take the prize!!!

OK mate, here you go.

West/Central London (SNO'PROBLEM) v. Anerley (L) (TOMSE20).

Not much difference in altitude but would fancy my chances if I can squeeze out a Thames streamer, otherwise pretty close I would say,

Regards,

Tom.

It certainly does look good! No point in me sitting here and watching it slowly move towards me, may as well get some shuteye, otherwise I would only crash just as it gets here in all it's vigour.

Back in a few hours, sweet dreams everyone, and bring it on Tom! :D

This was expected though. It is not forecast to hit our region for another seven hours.

That mass of loveliness may eventually get stuck............over our houses hopefully :)

Mate, it's not meant to be heavy all the way only light to moderate but every flake will stick so decent accumulations. Post a chart if u can to back up your thoughts. Cheers

Morning all!

On my way to BBC towers ready for snow watch :)

Even a few teeny tiny flakes fluttering in the air as I left the house.

It smells amazing, so crisp! Bring on the snow
