Haha a classic old style Yamkin ramp I love it! Get the army out! Tanks patrolling the streets!

In reality I think it will be more like this....

My friend who moved to Lowestoft, Suffolk is reporting heavy snow showers and thunder snow! Must be exciting

Yes, I can confirm there have been reports of Thundersnow earlier in the East Anglia and 3 Counties thread good.gif

Could be a few suprises before the main event then, would imagine as soon as people wake up and see snow they wont bother travelling which will be a good thing.

That event on Sunday looks good according to the BBC Weather Forecast, wouldn't be suprised if that gives as much as tomorrow/Saturday's event for some.

Like I say let Wales have the large dumping, we'll take atleast a 3 day event :)

Everything is looking very good so far. Radar pretty well matching GFS to this point... All good for Sunday as well, could be right there KB, could really add to things!

Few flakes in the air in the city of London

have been lampost watching for a few mins and no flakes in sight, but cloud cover has now arrived.

Snowing in Sevenoaks Kent, although the radar isn't showing anything?

Also in Bromley

Hey you two blow it over here, would love to see a few flakes before I sleep.

-1°c here on south kent coast now with a fresh breeze straight off the sea. Must mean the true continental air has arrived.

Not expecting much more than a dusting for east kent.

The 00.58 bbc forecast showed the band fizzling out and not properly reaching this far east.
