From where I live i get a great view across the valley and can see for a couple of miles, one thing I have not seen this Winter is a gritting lorry.

Keeping supplies back for the Feb Freeze? ;-)

A further little competition for you all. " The London & S.E Snow Depth Cup" ( 1st Round).

Taking Paul S's list order for his sweepstake, I've compiled a draw of matches, based on your snow depths come 21.00 hours Sunday evening. All you need to do is measure your snow depth at that time and post in this thread. NO CHEATING PLEASE.

Winners of each match-up, will go through to the next round. Should no further snowfall oppurtunities occur in our area for the rest of the Winter season, greatest depth of snow at 21.00 hours on Sunday 20th Jan. shall be deemed the overall winner.

Draw is as follows:

Leigh-on-Sea (E) (PAUL SHERMAN) v. Wickford (E) (DANUK) - Low scoring home side could need the aid

of a streamer!help.gif

No location? (CWT2012) v. Reigate (Sur) (GREAT PLUM)

The front in the West has almost caught up with the lingering ppn in the central region and beginning to shunt it Eastwards, looks slightly ahead of the GFS timing as well.

Yes jp, I know it well. I work around the corner from you in Laud Street, near the fly-over.

Working until 9.30 tonight, could be an interesting journey back to Anerley at that time.

Must say, very impressed with Paul Sherman's odds percentage, does he have a Bookmaking background.

Btw, good job I didnt price up Craig23 v.Snowbob, you know the inside form and could have pulled off a betting coup!

Regards,

Tom.

Tough match for me against JIMMYH will be very even by Sunday night I think - cheers

Hello mate,

Are you London or Middlesex there?

Tom

Everywhere turning white quite rapidly! Blizzard conditions!

Blizzard in full swing, temp down to 1.4C DP now down to 1C, what a sudden drop. All we need is for the snow to start sticking, need that dp to get down more!!

^ That's from wales! nice :D
