It's funny how everyone thinks other parts of the region gets more snow then them. If I had a penny for every time I've had to sit and watch east Kent get clobbered while London gets nowt. Swings and roundabouts...

Off home for lunch in 15mins so will see how deep it is under foot. It seems to be settling in the middle of the busier roads now, but on the whole the well used roads are clear, the lesser roads are still covered. The heavier snow seems to be creeping towards the M25 now. I guess might be around here in the next few hours - if it keeps its intensity of course.

I could be stuck in Brighton!

Could be worse I guess, if you're going you should go now - roads are passable currently but I shouldn't think they will be in 3 or 4 hours. Snow ploughs out on the A27 around Brighton as I came through :good:

Not much snowraven couple of mm roads fine at moment

Unless that band gets a move on East, I think there will be a lot of disapointed people in SE London/Kent/Essex today.

They should have given the weather warnings in mm, not cm for our bit of the SE corner laugh.png

I am pleased that those to the West of the region are getting loads of snow though good.gif

Really not looking clever for us south essex guys and girls, by the time it eventually reaches us it will be sheared to death and bugger all left on the front. Someone from Basildon or Rochester give me hope!!

Just another reason for me to hate this god-forsaken place! wallbash.gif

Mmm, latest BBC weather seemed to show Essex and some of Kent missing out on the main snow but bits and pieces coming in later

LOL that would be just typical.

I must admit after being confident earlier, I am now having my doubts. The radar is not a pretty sight for anyone EAST of the M25 or M20 at the moment.

Stay patient though peeps. I still think we'll get there later this arvo and into the evening.

Snow getting heavier but still relatively light. Somehow in nearly 3 hours of pretty light snow, got about 1.5cm.

I can't believe the amount of snow Harrow has had since I moved to Kent in 2010. It was a snow freeze zone until I moved and now Kent seems to get considerably less snow than before! Funny that....

Homemade weather station here...pretty accurate. Fine perfect powder, steady and moderate, light breeze...

Yh this is not good, front has completely stalled 25 miles west of here, is starting to get sheared to death and it is actually starting to brighten up here.

Ah well at least I can drive to school to get the kids! Wahay
