Stopped completely here in Romford. Looking at radar it looks like the front hits the eastern extent of M25 and disintegrates.

Hopefully the heavier stuff to come after midday?

Light and persistent still with flakes definitely getting bigger. Grass and pavements looking nice.

In the office, though constant staring out of the window is meaning little getting done.

It's been 4-6 on the scale for two hours now yet we've barely got a centimetre yet needs to pep up to a 6-7 before we can reach for the ruler

Agree, although it appears to be getting slightly heavier now and temperature stopped rising, can't believe the lack of wind in Dartford?

Moderate snow falling in Harrow for the last hour basically... been snowing non-stop since 08.30ish anyway.

About 2-3cms on the ground ... so not been a bad morning here.

A white out at times as well with blowing snow off roofs and cars.

Can't Complain here really .

Snow definetly heavier here in Petts/Wood/Locksbottom borders compared to 10 mins ago.Hopefully we will have another 6-9 hours of this so accumulations will then develop as we have maybe 1cm at moment.

Be gutted if we miss out on Sundays snow but everything still to play for me thinks.

Temp is steady at -1.5

Agreed. Looking good now for those in the West of our region.

Im under this band in East Grinstead, it is not heavy (probably a 7 on the MURR) but it unrelenting, building depth quickly.

You still haven't got it you're like 12-13miles away and it's been snowing for 2.5hours here! Usually its other way around and medway gets the snow and never here!

For London - are we expecting another band of snow hitting us?

The snow started falling here at around 9am, however it was predicted to snow at 11am last night.

The fact it has come early, is there any other bands of snow to follow?

At the moment very limited snow flakes falling

Nearly a 7 on the Murr scale now... They've been gritting our work car park rather ineffectually and it looks like the one way system in Reigate is starting to jam...

Latest temps: -1.9c, dew -2.6c

Back to the light crispy snow here again, was heavy for a while 20mins or so ago for 10mins, radar does suggest the heavier band could clip us in an hour or so - seems to be pretty slow moving. Probably 1-2cm under foot, but hard to judge from my window as the grit and heat near the building is stopping the snow falling there.

Is there anyone in the Bexley area that could kindly provide me with a report please. I work in the City and I need to make a judgement call on whether to leave now and work at home for the rest of the day. Thanking you in advance.

Flakes getting bigger and snow heavier, nice as it needs to. Its been steady all morning but not the snow I'm expecting, looking a bit more like it now. Persihingly cold though, feeling colder as morning as got on
