Front has defo now stalled. Looks to be making about 10 miles an hour progress at present. Pains - staking and as oldmetman says expect the front to now start shearing away and wont be long before it starts to lose intensity later this afternoon.

Good luck to the sweet spots, Surrey and parts of Hampshire still looking great!

Light to moderate persistent snow for about 20 minutes now. Settling on everything pretty quickly. Have to say I love this type of snow compared with the stuff that fell for hours on Monday and barely stuck.

Haven't had chance to check the Models but are we on for round 2 on Sunday?

Sunday looks like the South East could take a direct hit. Wouldn't surprise me to see a red warning for London if that comes off.
