Snow band definitely much further south than forecast, still on the light side here but now its after dark its settling with ease at least.

Just been outside to connect my Ro unit to the tap & it's snowing heavier now & starting to freeze temp here is down to 0.1c now been 1.0c all day

The roads were pretty bad on the drive home from work tonight, much worse than they were on Friday

MO have it snowing in Shrewsbury till 9am

I can't see it tbh maybe till midnight, which would still be incredible and would be 14 hours non stop snow

That's unheard of here!!

Most roads are fine and passable bar a few cul-de-sacs but they are fine with care

Shame about the thaw yesterday and midday today

Deepest parts at probably 4 inches (guesswork!)

Paths probably a level inch or 2

Edit: as I type it's just starting to die out

Well as long as this wind keeps blowing in off the Wash, we should be ok, there's plenty of precipitation getting sheered away from the main band and blown over the Midlands for hours yet.....who'd have though it ay?

Still the same amount of snow falling here as most of the day , but it seems to have started settling since about 4pm.

(I think the snow got in De Gea's eyes at the end of the game - blinking pansy punch :-( )
