Been snowing moderately since 5, re-covering the cleared bits, 8-9cm now where its lain undisturbed all day. Todays snow has done a good job in Shrewsbury IMO, amounts falle. today compare well with other places. Last night's non-settling rubbish was the reason Birm and Stoke have higher depths, it stuck there.

The last couple of hours have certainly added another 1cm in places

Looks like there's a trough building in the Irish sea, which should move in towards the Midlands later? What do you guys think?

Not snowing here at the moment, there has been the odd flurry in the last couple of hours but nothing much really. Maybe a little more to come later in the evening ? We've had at least 13cm here; a very memorable day.

Something does seem to be building over Wales too?

I'm looking at that stuff building over Wales could be a repeat of last night, light snow for a few hours??? This time it will def stick due to being much colder

Still coming down steady in Telford despite being on the very edge of it on the radar, had an extra 2cm or so this evening :D
