According to the BBC, Tuesday could be interesting.

Another date for the snow diary then.

midlands today had snow moving in sunday, then monday and heavy on tuesday, and saying cold could stay until week after next.

I think alot of the professional forecasters are having problems with predictions at the moment. Even Sundays event has very loose information surrounding it.

Tuesday does look very good. Still snowing here. Just been for a walk, there's so many abandoned cars.

Is everybody else seeing that eerie glow in the sky that always appears after a decent snowfall? Quite a beautiful site.

Normally you'd see the night skyline lit orange from the streetlights.

It basically said. Chance of showers in the east Sunday, with a band of showers moving in from the north to affect the west. Monday showery, Tuesday something more significant and then she said that the cold could stick around for aslong as the next 10-11 days. Seemed all a bit OTT to me as the PPN charts dont really look solid like doing 'anything' at the moment.

Irritatingly, lots of bits of snow close by but nothing here currently as we're stuck in the gap. Still we did very well this morning in terms of persistent heavy snow so can't complain!

Fairly heavy snow surprisingly for the past half an hour here, starting to ease again now but nice to see there's still life in this front yet.

Looks like there's a trough building in the Irish sea, which should move in towards the Midlands later? What do you guys think?

Looks beefy.
