My station is new so could be out a bit, it seems to be reading a little on the low side, I have got it placed in the centre of garden about 2m off the floor so shouldn't be effected by too much!! Anyway down to -0.1 here since last reading at +0.2 so heading in the right direction still.

Where abouts in town are you mate?

Reckon Tottenham and Chelsea could be in doubt tmw if we get heavy snow early......Health and safety, travel issues, police advice will be to cancel.

Had snizzle here all afternoon, hope something heavier will come along soon, not landing as the ground is wet and snizzle is so small.

Really wish the mods would STOP deleting on topic posts, which have replies in the model thread discussion. If you want to delete something, then put a reason why. They are even too damn lazy to move it to the regional, I could do their job!

For south east it was VERY wrong, timing was wrong, precipitation rates were WRONG. Many of us were discussing it all day yesterday in the regional. Will be interesting to see how accurate it is for tomorrow! <- this was a reply to the NAE forecast model.

Anyway, we are still getting snow flurries, it's still below 0c and feels damn bitter :D

I hope not tho i'm glad its only a short trip tomorrow. And as the early game hope we should be ok.

The snizzle is now "heavy" and blowing off the roof and leaving a layer on cleared surfaces. -0.8c and heading lower

Very harsh IMHO. Try sending them a message they are usually very forthcoming :-)

Fairly persistent snizzle starting to settle in places again now Temp down to 0c. Cold, raw and dark day by the estuary. Not everyone's favourite weather but I love it like this, big moody skies, raw east wind, makes you feel alive.

The 8km res chart for 1500 tomorrow afternoon. This is about the furthest west that any snow is forecast. It drags back eastwards after 1500.

These are the sort of days winters are made off, and I just love.

Lovely forecast by Tomas Snifferkipper on BBC News 24; looking like snow from around 11:00 to 21:00 for Essex/Kent. An all snow event as well Shrimper!

I would give this winter 3 out of 10 so far (2 x minor events to today). With a good day tomorrow I'm hoping to elevate it to 6 out of 10 (over 10 cm's would take it to a 6.5).

I think I need to get out more!!! fool.gif
