Must say the radar is cause for concern, seems to be tracking further east than progged.. Also seems to be losing some intensity.

Am not sure it seems to be going more in a northerly direction and pushing out quite far west as they have snow down in burgess hill and peacehaven. You would still be in line IF it is. Hope as it goes across it picks up in intensity.

Do you think that the precipitation is far enough west to give a couple of cm in ne Hampshire - just out of the region I know.

Maybe icing sugar dusting. I wasn't expected much more here though and it looks better this am. - may get a cm top up hopefully.

Just run the NW radar loop from 0630-0730 the PPN over kent is moving WNW not west-

& the radar echoes over the channel & into france are building so its not problems people...

I can see this event being similar to Friday.. Grainy snow which gives a measurable dusting to most of us, but not enough to prevent it melting by tomorrow lunchtime.

We have a suprise dusting of snow here in Jarnac SW France, I am watching the progress of today's snow with interest, hopefully Gatwick will remain open for my return tomorrow morning. Also I need to find out how Lee SE London is doing for the Snow Cup!!

Thanks. Just need a correction 20 miles west and I will get a couple of cm. I'm hopeful but don't really expect it to happen now that we are only a few hours from the main event where I am. Can't complain as I got 13cm from the Friday event. Looks like you will get 5cm at least and, after you predominantly missed out on Friday, this should bring a smile to your face.

Ah a fellow Telscombe cliffs person, I put Peacehaven as thought more people would know the name, but am in Telscombe cliffs to.

Snow coming down, lots of flakes but very small in size. It's filling in the melt patches well already though
