7cm today. Temps now falling and any light thaw on car has now frozen. -0.4c. DP -1c

Virtually dark now, lamp-post watching. The snow takes on a magical quality at these light levels, almost mesmerising!

Just coming up to the 10cm mark here; mostly light snow since about half seven this morning, but flake size and intensity have increased in the last hour or so, looks like we may still have an hour or so of light snow left before everything freezes solid tonight. Fingers crossed for more snow throughout this week, although by the looks of things it may turn sleety at times. Hope you've all had a great day and look out for the ice hidden underneath the snow... Ouch!!

Im not getting the heavy stuff, had the same light stuff all day and we are only in Rainham, near big Tesco probably 3 miles away! mega_shok.gif But not moaning coz we have enough to sledge in, and make a swowman and it looks very pretty. But if you could blow it over...

This has got to be the best day in a long,long time ,i have just measured 16cm of level snow on garden table, and its still snowing hard , temp - 0.6c

Kids made a snowman earlier and all holes filled in already..you can only dream about days like this. and this day will live long in childrens memories , just like we have our own memories of famous winters of our own,, take as many pis as possible to remember guys, as we may have to wait a long time to have another day as good as this one,

2 days ago i was worried about not getting the snow i should have just been patient.. Well happy...

I'm torn between watching Man Utd and watching the lamppost rofl.gif

Not an easy choice, I sympathise, but I think on this occasion the lamppost would win, I can watch Man U anytime!

been snowing since around 8am here I believe, not sure how much though lol. Sounds greedy but anyone know if we could get further snow showers tomorrow around our region or is it to early to tell? thanks blum.gif

Moderate snow still in DA6. Much larger flakes as well. My road is dodgy, but I'm sure the main roads will be OK.

Still going here 9 hours after it started. Have'nt got a ruler only a dressmaking tapemeasure, was going to use a coke can but that would get buried might have to use a vodka bottle and measure that......lol
