Just over the border it's bucketing down with snow, I have 12cm's already, sky looks full of it too.

People like you are why I don't come on here a lot. Temps and dew points with not bring a thaw. Be quiet if you don't have anything decent to say. Yawn!

METEOX forward (Next 3hrs) has it coming back from the West......

I was about to say, looking at the radar, looks to be some rotation on the western, southern most edge - suggesting possible shunt back westwards....

How reliable is that?

wow imagine the whole coming back i would be looking at 15cm easily if that happened

It's thawing rapidly when the intensity of the precipitation ceases. We've had no bone chilling nights so that won't help as the base isn't properly frozen

Just looked at that! Anyone else confirm this or is it a glitch?

Temp rising here now and the snow is very wet on the ground. Reckon a lot of this will melt this afternoon.

Would that bring higher temps with it though. If so I'd rather keep my snow than get it washed away - marginal enough here! If not - wow that would be 2 Christmasses in one.

Temp upto 1.6c skys clearing that says a thaw kicking in

Surely it won't turn back and come at us from the west. That would be completely insane!

No it won't,where are people getting this idea from?

Certainly a slight thaw taking place with snow falling from the trees and sliding of the cars with the temp still rising and at 1.7C now.

Still have light snow falling but not sure for how much longer looking at the radar?

Temperatures have been repeatedly underestimated. No idea why/how. What's noticeable about this cold spell is lack severe frosts/cold. Has made lying snow for any extended period quite impossible away from elevated ground.

The NMM does show a band of precip moving North East from Wales into the North West. nothing heavy, maybe a dusting.

Guys, chill out, it's a weather forum stop crying like some sissy girls.

Anyways, just been checking my radar from Weather Pro and ran it back and forth, METEOX might just be right, there is a swirl and westward trend - I can see it with the PPN in Wales - its already started to come back West
