You guys in the West Midlands could still get snow seeing as North East Wales and the North West is getting pummelled right now.

Totally in the dead zone here, temp has risen to 1.3oC, no sign of either snow nor rain! However having had all the action last time, not that bothered!

The Malverns from Pershore looked gorgeous today, Im afraid the end is in sight for the snow cover....lazy.giflazy.giflazy.giflazy.giflazy.gif

Nothing again here, still got a covering only, hardly anything fallen so far despite what the radar is showing!

What gets me though it that the met office wont admit wrong doing in the warning for us in lowland northcentralwestmidlands> they have an insidious agenda whereby they gradually introduce the sleet symbol on their website!

A pretty volatile situation at the moment, precip changing from icy rain to sleet and snow before going back again every few minutes. Temps soaring to the dizzy heights of 1.3*C

they should, i think what has happened is maybe the uppers are slightly above 0 and the 2metre temps are too high.

From whati can see, dewpoints are the right side of marginal ?

The heavy echos north of Stoke aren't producing anything heavier than has already fell all evening. Rather odd. Few CM added to the total but its very icy stuff.

Anyway, what were we talking about before we were rudely interupted by a very snowy cold spell?

Oh yeah...I remember...

It's been a rubbish winter so far and there's no chance of snow...

...oh oops.gif
