Hummm upper air temps too high it seems around here, not even high ground can sort that.

To be honest hope all the snow gets washed away quickly with the rain as there is quite alot here still!

Hopefully we get another one of these situations banked before the winters out.

Woah this rain is rapidly eradicating our snow cover! I can't believe it never snowed at all. Just started as rain :(

Yeah still rain here in Dudley as well. Looks like the snow that fell earlier in the week is starting to thaw slightly as well.

I'm shocked to be on the right side of marginal for once, epic snowfall outside at the moment

So am I, think we are just far enough north, hope another heavy snow flurry soon from your way

So let me get this straight: Shropshire, the snowless capital of the UK, is seeing heavy snow whereas Solihull is merely seeing heavy sleety rain??!

Some sort of MAJOR malfunction going on right now!!! laugh.png

In brum the light snow has turned into icy rain - tbh I'm glad. We've had a great run this week I'd rather the horrid grey slush and ice get washed away tonight! This winter (IMHO) has already been a classic, and we've still got February to come ;)

No I'm north of brum and it's rain here now also. Slightly wired though that covering of snow hasn't melted at all yet!

Well, it's now pouring with rain here, not even sleet! Temp up to 1.5oC. Feels strange hearing rain and water running.
