0z had the precipitation way out west and fragmenting. 6z and 12z pull it further NE and more pronounced so it now lies across Wales as a signifficant band. One more shift ENE and we're back in business.

Lets hope this is a trend cc!

GFS pulls the precipitation right over us and it's heavy. More marginal though. Seems the tide is changing yet again.

Absolute nightmare for forecasters this. They won't be able to do right for doing wrong.

Wednesdays snow is due to come from the system that is currently battering north east America, will just be Billinge rain by the time it arrives at our shores!

Just had a look at the met office yellow warning and read the summary at the side...pfft

basically it says rain sleet and snow to clear away leaving icy stretches...dont sound great that does it.

what time are we talking for it to turn to snow. I'm away tonight and have to ride my motor bike back from Ashton tomorrow.

Just had a Tweet from Alex Deakin regarding the North West's snow chances for tomorrow, sounds uninspiring to say the least!

Alex Deakin â€@alexdeakin

@DavidMac828282 cold and wet tomorrow snow mostly on the hills (where there could be a lot) not much snow at low levels

and wallop another smack in the face.

I wish i was a lover of rain as we seen to get plenty of that.

Mind you if that was the case there would definatley be a drout...as things never go the way you want them to lol
