Horrible drizzle ALL day, wish it'd get lost.

The ground is wet now, and I expect it to still be wet this time on Monday, not white.

Yes I can imagine it getting bad there when it does snow, did my Alcohol Licence there at the local OneStop in the village.

You must like a drink if you have a licence to drink.

Bacup is said to be one of the best preserved mill towns in Lancashire and we are 1000ft up in the South Peninnes.

Unfortunately is doesn't have the best reputation but is improving all the time with investment and we are even getting a great big new Morrisons. I moved here from the South East about 10 years ago and woudn't live anywhere else now, fantastic hills and ever changing weather and plenty of snow. It's also a bit wet some times, but that's why they used to spin cotton here.

Comical forecast from the ever entertaining Piers Corbyn:- FOR BRIT-IR The colder than expected in UK current period 8-10th, with warm sectors closing and shifting south sooner than in Long Range, means cold weather without much of a break is likely to continue through imminent weather periods, so the major snow-blizzard period next week will be even more snowy, blizzardy and dangerous in Britain and Ireland.

I do hope people don't pay him with money for these forecasts.

What you talking about Willis?

0z had the precipitation way out west and fragmenting. 6z and 12z pull it further NE and more pronounced so it now lies across Wales as a signifficant band. One more shift ENE and we're back in business.
