Would not be surprised to see flash warnings tomorrow,so much uncertainty still, anything could and

probably will happen, these twists and turns are far from over IMO

Well just checked the precip forecast and it's a big upgrade for us, it has heavy ppn for several hours as the main front bumps into the earlier front and pushes right over us through to Monday. The LP system has moved a little north and west, which isn't bad for us, as long as it does not go south. Recent models have projected the shift on a more North basis so that's quite good. We just need the temps now, although I still feel its going to be a damp squib... But we will see.

Also if you want a laugh check met-check,no good for me 18hrs of heavy sleet, whilst Manchester gets 18hrs moderate snow

not sure where they get there data from, was informed it was GFS but not sure

I have had nothing but sleet and rain here in South Manchester, not even a proper dusting of snow just some patchy slush. It has been a Winter of broken promises and disappointing let downs and I expect this to be another none event though obviously North Manchester may fair a little better and anyone with elevation of course.

Distruptive drizzle here all day, just got back in from Liverpool city centre and its drizzle all the way, miserable cold and wet. Can't see any snow potential for tomorrow/Monday just wet methinks

NMM is an upgrade for the region both in terms of precipitation and freezing levels later tomorrow. Widely 2-400m freezing level. Should be sufficient provided precipitation is heavy enough

Yes that's what I have just seen. A substantial upgrade there. Anything can happen in this situation as the LP has not developed yet.

Bring back 2009/2010..it was amazing..my water froze everyday lots of snow hard frosts and i had a burst pipe whilst trying to prepare my sons birthday buffet this was 27th Dec..

The reason i froze up was my stop tap was outside and every morning i dragged an extension lead outside plugged in the air dryer ...i did this under a brolly ...im not mad.

It was snowing really bad..neighbours thought i was a bit odd.

Yes this is due to the upgrade on the Lp system moving North. The bands are also showing as joining together giving prolonged snow. Cheshire is shows as staying in the PPN all night and some other southern places of the region too.
