Nothing in north Essex, wet and windy, temp has dropped but its to windy off the coast that's keeping the snow away from us

Well it's been snowing moderately for 6 hours here, and it's amounted up to about 2mm LOL.

Just imagine if the temps had been 1c lower we would be digging out tomorow me thinks..

About 5-6 cms here in billericay. Wet underneath and slippery as a result - slipped over taking a measurement. Still fairly heavy.

Now this is very heavy snow, would all the Southend, Leigh, Rayleigh residents agree! If this keeps up then we could be in business!

just got back from Guilford area... motorway was clear, just, but Potter's Bar junction was snowy as was the rest of the journey home (Southgate). Fairly heavy snow again....guessing depths of between 2 to 3cm

Yep so far the sweet spot for falling and laying snow has been West Essex with higher altitude - 100M ASL (Stansted/Epping) across to the East Chilterns and East Anglia Heights (Luton/Stevenage areas).

Stanway always does well for some reason.there's more on my car than anywhere else though it settled there first lol.about half inch on decking
