Ah ha! I may not be able to see the village roads but this is the M25 at the two junctions I have the choice of using. Jctn 20 is about half a mile away and Jctn 21a is three quarters of a mile. Really coming down hard now.

well finally after 4 hours of sleety mush, we have real snow and lying on paths.

Has been snowing in Hemel Hempstead for about six hours and still coming down strongly. Cover is about 4cm or so....would have been a lot more had it not been melting away on the wet surface below. I am sure it will be deeper just up the road in the higher part of the Chilterns. Anybody up there with their ruler?

Oh the rain , why the rain? Poor olde Sussex , I think maybe I bid you farewell winter 12/13 , you gave me some snow but now the constant torrent of rain tonight has firmly put a nail in your coffin for me , You really are quite a naughty season !!!
