Anyone around the brighton area who has this snow settling??

Settling on cars, and wooden table, in Queens Park area. Also out towards Woodingdean it's settling slightly on the grass. Not settling on footpaths or roads that I have seen though.

Came through high beech this morning amazing all trees bender right over with the weight of snow must have about six inches up there.

Oh really it's werid as a friend said its laying up mile oak but up in the top of hangleton next to South Downs where I am it ain't :S

Heavy? Haven't seen any heavy snow here in South Norwood neaby all morning - light maybe bordering on moderate briefly.

that's what I mean't it's moderate snow but there's lots of it (heavy to me), remember I live up in Shirley near Yamkin so it's always heavier here.

yes everything was white up here on the downs near Brighton up until 30 mins ago but then the temps climbed and it is now slush but

still snowing moderately and helping to make

flavourless slush puppy's on the ground now but

looked very winter wonderland for a while , it

has all come too late !

We have 10cms here so far, still snowing at the moment.

There was about 0.5 of a cm in Reigate, but at the top of Reigate Hill at 6:30 am about 1.5cm, just about. Very patchy on the journey round to Harefield, around the Leatherhead turning (very low altitude) practically nothing but about a centimetre here at the office where it is steadily, but lightly, snowing. A delightful 2.5 hour journey to work gave me plenty of opportunity to study the snow conditions....... and now the one meeting I came in for has been cancelled. Might just pack up and go home!

I like the positive way you express such a long journey! Mine for the school and work run from Surbiton to Uxbridge also allows me, during snowy set-ups particularly, to bore my son with a running commentary of changes in the weather during our 75 mins through the western extent of London. No wonder he watches Youtube on his mobile phone and acts like he doesn't notice! Flakes smaller now in Uxbridge but still persistent. Fingers crossed for a Thames Streamer:)

Wow I'm amazed that it laid after the amout of rain last night lol :o I guess your higher up than me tho would like to take a trip to devils dyke see wats going on up there I suspect it would of layed there.
