Expected too see some snow on the highest parts of the moors to the west this morning but no. The remaining drifts on view have also dropped a lot. A band of rain should just skirt to the east of me effecting eastern areas of Sheffield this afternoon by the looks of it. This mornings forecast showed Snow moving into the region overnight. Time will tell.

Quite a few areas of Midlands are reporting Snow this morning, not just on high levels too.

It's expected to push up towards our area later.

I've just been out to wash car and it feels very cold.
