to be honest the bbc are crap and are always at least 12 hours behind the models, mindue i still think ya right

Others have also picked up on this in other regional threads, one of the well respected posters in the Sgottish thread even reckons that the warnings should be shifted North

not yet please im about a few mile away from it literally! Is the snow laying in darlo?

not yet its not heavy enough and the flakes are small, looking at the radar something heavier is on the way though

you should see snow pritty soon looking at the radar

Sky news are forecasting 30cm + for Newcastle not sure where they got that from. Some guy on Twitter who does a forecast for County Durham is screaming for Amber Warnings.

I'd be suprised to see 30mm+ in the newcastle area if bbc are to be believed. Let's hope sky are onto something.

Looks to be snowing on waskerley moors from here so can't be far away at all now. Any snow falling in consett anyone
