Nothing at all yet- the snow keeps fizzling out a few miles to the south and west of here. Frustrating radar watching so far, but there's still plenty of time of course.

It's brilliant in huddersfield tonight isn't it? Just been out for a drive up outlane way and it was a right adrenalin rush!! The wind was immense, blowing the lying snow over from the open fields!! Did it in a fiesta for even more fun!!

Didn't quite make it up here then !!! If this does keep up all night like current BBC forecasts are suggesting then tomorrow morning there might be some interesting scenes round here. It's not too shabby even now, although it's becoming really hard to see what's happening because there's so much snow stuck to the windows.

Clear weakening of the front now, isn't this supposed to pivot?

Met have heavy snow until 12pm now, so definitely a push backwards, not that I'm complaining, as long as we get some snow.

It's actually going to intensify over the next few hours, should begin to become apparent in the next few runs.

Where about in north Leeds? I'm up Bramhope way and it's doing well. When we went to drop some things of in Horsforth earlier at 120M ASL it was doing well too.

There are icicles hanging from the lamp post lanterns which means the hot lamp is melting the snow and as it drips its freezing. Light powder snow been falling all evening but is accumulating fast :)

Orographic snowfall will continue to the eastern slopes forget the weakening. The easterly wind will do the business

soz just seen it.

Look at the radar, the precipitation is now getting heavier in west yorkshire, I expect the snow to start getting heavier then as the front passes/decays we should end up under a large swathe of snow that won't be going anywhere too fast. Plenty of time for good accumulations!

Well you guys are winning to tug of war currently. Your snow is coming thick and fast in the south and sw of the region

We currently have heavy rain and sleet although the essex contingent are pulling hard and are reporting snow.

Enjoy, looks as though wales hit the jackpot though with 40cm in some hilly parts...

As i type im on the turn with driving sleet..

To be honest, NAE and GFS have always shown it moving north, but then forced further south towards EA/SE as the colder air wins out, so I don't see why you snow couldn't affect the SE too.

It's amazing how quickly this snow has settled. Coming down thick and fast like nobody's business. Hope to see some impressive drifts tomorrow.

Fingers crossed it quickly turns to snow and you get a good pasting down there.
